Cross the hall to the kitchen, the style of which could easily grace the pages of a fashionable lifestyle magazine. You may not be planning to spend too much time cooking, but here you'll find everything you need. There is a large electric cooking range, microwave, fridge freezer, dish washer, uncluttered cool granite worktops, and fully-equipped with cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils, really everything you’ll need. The light, cool, colour scheme provides a pleasant place to be, from when you’re making the first cup of tea of the day, right up to cracking open that eagerly anticipated bottle of wine in the evening.
As you pass through the corridor to your bedroom, take a moment to glance out of the window into the inner courtyard – a little haven where well-stocked feeders tempt a wide variety of wild birds and even the local woodpecker population.

This simple but highly-functional room has been designed with custom built wardrobe and side tables providing plenty of storage to take care of everything during your stay. The deep recessed 'arrow slit' windows are an unusual feature of the original station buildings. The bedroom has plenty of natural light provided by the courtyard windows and a Velux skylight with a blackout shield remotely controlled with a solar powered device. Conveniently situated off the bedroom is the en-suite facility comprising of WC and wash basin.
In addition to your internal accommodation, there is a patio area and outdoor furniture for your exclusive use in fine weather; plenty of car parking and secure undercover accommodation for bikes. During your stay, don't miss the private wildlife garden set on an acre of land alongside the railway line. This delightful area, which includes a huge pond, has become a thriving habitat for frogs, butterflies and many species of wild birds.
